Site report — modernemedical.com · Concept preview for Moderne Medical Proposed build What's included

Independent review · 27 July 2026

Your reputation is strong. Your website is not keeping up.

Moderne Medical Aesthetics is an award-winning concierge medspa with real patient loyalty and a board-certified founder patients trust. The live site at modernemedical.com often feels heavy, unreliable, and more like a dated brochure than the premium experience your Desert Cove suite delivers. This report states what we measured, what it means in plain language, and what it costs — without guessing numbers we cannot verify from outside.

The four questions you asked

Before any design conversation, these are the facts — stated plainly, with what we could verify from outside and what needs your Search Console access to confirm exactly.

QuestionWhat we foundHow we know
Is the site working for patients? Often reported as slow or broken by owners. Heavy page weight, third-party booking widgets, and a brochure layout that does not match the in-suite experience. Owner feedback · live site review · PageSpeed sampling, Jul 2026
Can patients book easily? Booking exists but is not a branded, embedded engine on the homepage journey. Patients leave the Moderne experience to confirm — friction at the highest-intent moment. Live site navigation · booking flow review
Are membership and retail working? Moderne has MEMBERSHIP and a SHOP — but neither drives the homepage story. High-margin retail and loyalty sit behind menus instead of beside treatments. Site structure review · competitor benchmark
How much non-brand search are you winning? We cannot see your analytics without access. Commercial searches for Scottsdale injectables, laser and medspa terms are competitive — thin treatment copy and weak FAQ structure make it hard for Google or AI assistants to quote you. Live SERP sampling · needs Search Console for exact traffic

In plain English

Patients who already know Allison or find you on Google Maps may still book. Everyone searching "Dysport Scottsdale" or asking ChatGPT which North Scottsdale medspa to trust is meeting a competitor whose website answers the question first. Your suite feels concierge; your homepage often feels like a template that hasn't been updated since the practice outgrew it.

Where does Moderne rank for searches that bring in money?

Sample searches a Scottsdale patient would type. Exact positions fluctuate — this is a snapshot, not a guarantee. Brand searches for Moderne perform; commercial terms are where revenue leaks.

What this costs

Every patient who searched for a North Scottsdale injector this month and did not already know your name found someone else first. The practice that gets found sets the price anchor. Moderne's clinical credibility deserves to show up before the appointment, not only after a referral.

Seven things holding the site back

01
Critical

The homepage does not declare what you do in one clear headline

Brochure sites often lead with a brand name or rotating slider — not a commercial answer to why a patient should choose Moderne today. Google and AI assistants read the H1 first. Without "concierge medspa · North Scottsdale · injectables & laser" in plain language, you compete on brand alone.

Fixed by

One H1: "Concierge aesthetics in North Scottsdale." Supporting H2s as patient questions — exactly as shown on the proposed homepage.

02
Critical

Title and meta description undersell Allison's credentials and location

Search results are your billboard. Short or generic meta tags waste characters that could say "Board-certified FNP-C · Dysport, fillers, laser · Desert Cove Scottsdale." Patients scanning results choose the listing that names their concern and neighbourhood.

Fixed by

Unique title and description per treatment page — 55–60 and 150–155 characters, naming service, area and reason to click.

03
Critical

Booking is not embedded as your branded engine

Patients ready to book are sent through a disjointed path — third-party styling, extra clicks, no treatment context on the same page. That friction shows up as abandoned bookings you never hear about.

Fixed by

Four-step wizard on your domain: Treatment → Date → Time → Details. Live availability, instant confirmation, reminders — see book.html in this preview.

04
High

Membership and shop are not on the revenue journey

You already have MEMBERSHIP and SHOP. On the current homepage journey they barely appear. Retail margin and loyalty points should sit beside treatments — not in a submenu patients never open.

Fixed by

Featured products, Moderne Rewards section, and gift cards on the homepage — driving repeat visits and prepaid revenue.

05
Critical

Thin treatment content — Google has little to quote

Patients ask: "How much is Dysport in Scottsdale?" "Sculptra vs filler?" "CoolPeel downtime?" Your site needs 600–900 words per treatment answering those questions — not a paragraph and a phone number.

Fixed by

Full treatment pages + FAQ structured data. Question-led headings on the homepage FAQ demonstrate the pattern.

06
Critical

Site speed and weight hurt mobile patients

Aesthetic patients browse on phones, often from Instagram, often in the evening. Heavy imagery, render-blocking scripts and bloated plugins mean white screens and bounce — especially when owners already feel the site is "broken."

Fixed by

Modern static-first build, WebP images, no plugin stack. Target 90+ mobile PageSpeed and under 500 KB first load. This preview homepage is ~91 KB before optimised photography.

07
High

Weak consult path vs your reputation

Allison's credentials (RN, MSN, FNP-C) and concierge positioning should be above the fold — not buried. Patients choosing a nurse practitioner-led practice want clinical trust immediately, not after scrolling past stock photography.

Fixed by

Founder section, trust stats, complimentary consult CTA in booking wizard, and reviews integrated into the homepage flow.
